Every Saturday afternoon the members of the 'Freie
Kameradschaft Frankfurt/Oder' meet in Nico's appartment.
Whilst having cake and coffee, political instructions
are held and upcoming actions are planned: a petition
for harder penalties for child molesterers, singing
in an Retirement Home etc.
The documentary N O E X I T follows the inner
life of the 'Freie Kameradschaft Frankfurt/Oder'
over a period of one year. This group of six youths
is portrayed as an ambiguous and fragile construct,
in which different personal demands and ideas
clash. This leads to both hidden and open conflict.
It also becomes clearly recognizable what in the
regular instructions nurtures the 'brown stain'
of their souls and what is being rejected. The
movie shows how the political motivation departs
when people allow us insight into their innermost
self, here we find absolute personal desire and
conflict. And we also discover the stain on the
soul at the same time, which is fertile ground
for political manipulation.
On the basis of three biographies the film describes
the desires, fears and conflicts of a group of
young people who want to engage society. The wish
of these youths to be loved and needed but also
their fear of the strange and unknown sets free
their emotions and may unleash violence and hatred
for the slightest of reasons.
